Radio Shack suffered from a perception that it sells only batteries. Y&R had to find an advertising solution that would increase traffic and sales, elevate the brand image and attract new users by positioning the store as a provider of solutions that will make your life easier. The creative put a warm, funny and often twisted edge on the conventional problem/solution format.
